Hi, I am looking for a plugin for some client sites. I would liek to know how and when the IPs are blocked by this pugin? At which stage of the requests?

    Best regards
    Julian

Hello Julian. Our plugin is not a firewall so it doesn’t block any traffic. The way it works is by either using IP intelligence that was accumulated based on your own traffic patterns or our much larger data if you are using the premium version or based on the number of unsuccessful login attempts that are set in it. It will then make the “blocking” decision based on that data and will make it impossible for those IPs to successfully log in.

    Hello @wpchefgadget,

thank you for the quick reply.
How does the blocking happen though?
Do you just save the IPs in the DB, check against them and reroute the url on login?

    Best regards

With the free version they are saved into a table in the DB and then the login denial happens based on that.
