    Hi Support,

About twice per week my website will become unable to be translated until I login to the back-end, upon which all translations immediately begin to work again.

When the translations fail, I receive the following error message at the top right corner of each page that fails to translate:

    !trpst#trp-gettext data-trpgettextoriginal=5993#!trpen#0 Items#!trpst#/trp-gettext#!trpen

Upon logging into the site back-end, without needing to do any additional steps, the above error code will immediately disappear and the translation plugin begins working as intended.

Please let me know how this can be fixed so that the site always translates without my needing to log into it first.

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching us!

Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first/next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

??Briefly disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty One theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

    Kind Regards,

I’ll need some time to set up a staging environment to test that, but if it helps you look into this in the meantime the theme I’m using is Divi 4.14.7.

Update: I was reading through some other support topics, would the advanced troubleshooting or debug areas be of interest to me in?
    Specifically:
Troubleshooting – Filter Gettext wrapping from post content and title
Troubleshooting – Filter Gettext wrapping from post meta
Debug – Disable translation for gettext strings
I don’t have any of these selected currently.

    Hi There,

To update this issue, I can tell you now that the error string is only generated when the woo commerce shopping cart has a value of 0 Items.

    Please advise.

We need to take the pulse of this ticket. Is it still relevant?
In the meantime, I set this ticket as Resolved. You can also change its status back to unresolved and let us know by replying to this topic if your request still needs attention.
Another option is to leave this ticket as it is and open a new one where to mention the issue again and ask for support.

I’ve waited a month without a reply, so no this has not in anyway been resolved. I simply gave up on asking for help.

As I said in my last update, this happens when the WooCommerce shopping cart is set to a value of 0.

I also asked if you thought the troubleshooting area would be of use to me, to which I also received no reply. I decided not to wait and try them anyways, and I can confirm to you that the troubleshooting area did not resolve the issue.

I won’t be removing WooCommerce from my site, nor will I be removing the Divi theme, so if there isn’t a solution I guess I’ll be switching translation providers sometime in the future. Your plugin was great until one of the updates caused this issue, but it must be causing a big conflict with either woo commerce or divi if it’s still not resolved.

    Hello there,

Try to use now the latest version and see if the issue persists.

If it does, please let me know how I should replicate the issue on our environments and the plugins I need in order to do this.

    Thank you for this!

Error still happens. I believe it’s to do with one of the following:

    1. Divi 4.14.7
    2. WooCommerce 7.0.0
    3. WordPress 6.3.2

This issue began with one of your updates a few months back, I typically do not update plugins/themes unless they state a security reason to do so. So with that in mind, I’d say it’s one of your updates that’s conflicting.

@anghelemanuel99 I’m writing again to notify you that this error continues to persist with update 2.6.9

    Hello again,

Try to update the whole plugins that do not have the latest version and also TranslatePress and make sure you run the latest version of WordPress too.

    Let me know about this!

    Kind Regards,
