Problem with my WordPress SSO Authentication

    Hi,
    I open this topic because since several days I want to implement, following the documentation, WordPress sso access in my Nextcloud server. I have configured everything I followed step by step and at first I was hoping that everything was going well, because when in my nextcloud instance I pressed the login button for my WordPress site, it opened the WordPress login page, I tried to send email and password instead to redirect me in nextcloud it gives me this error: https://ibb.co/tQKyCgq

    I don’t know what i did possibly wrong i followed every step and it makes sense it should work like that, but not in my case.

    Thanks for reaching out to us!

    My understanding is that, you wish to enable SSO for your Nextcloud server using your WordPress site as the Identity Provider such that once the user logs in into your WordPress site, he should be able to SSO into the Nextcloud server without having to authenticate again. Please correct me if I am wrong, or if I missed something.

    This can be achieved by using our Login Using WordPress Users plugin. With the help of this plugin, your WordPress site will act as an SAML compliant Identity Provider, and can be used to configure the SSO with Nextcloud such that once the user logs in into the WordPress site, he will be automatically logged in into the Nextcloud server without having to authenticate again. I believe this is your desired experience.

    Hi, Thank you for your reply,

    I have downloaded the plugin you suggest me, i configure on nextcloud side following your tutorial, eveything was fine till i did a little test for login as a user, when i put username and password on my wordpress account it seems to work but immeidately after on my nextcloud instance i recieve this error message:

    “Account not generated.

    Your account has not been generated, so access to this service is impossible”.

    I have to specify that users from wordpress must be associated with a group i created in nextcloud for them, this is what i need for now.

    This seems like an error in configuration with automatic user creation, also known as Just-in-time User Provisioning.

    Since you are no longer using our WP OAuth Server plugin, we will close this ticket.
