Braintree with a VPN/Firewall

    Hey, we’re about to start testing a Woo + Braintree implementation on a site where the entire /admin/ is behind a VPN/Firewall. Are there any gateway-related urls or endpoints we need to whitelist so that our site can communicate with the Braintree gateway?

    Hi @jmccallweb

    When using the Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway plugin, you need to ensure that your server can communicate with Braintree’s servers. There are several endpoints that need to be whitelisted in your firewall or VPN settings.

    The following are the Braintree API endpoints:

    • api.braintreegateway.com
    • client-analytics.braintreegateway.com

    Please ensure that your server can establish a connection with these endpoints over port 443, which is used for secure HTTPS communication.
