WooCommerce Stripe Gateway Update

    I have a new client whose site uses the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway. On WC main page, it says that a security update is required and to please update immediately. However the client’s site currently is using version 7.6.1 of this plugin, which appears to be the latest version on www.ads-software.com. Did I get this security update message in error; did someone forget to increment the minor version number of the plugin; do I need to manually download and install from the www.ads-software.com or elsewhere?

    Just to note, version 7.6.2 (direct link here) of the WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway is already released. Feel free to update to it.

    Furthermore, you may be experiencing this particular bug from the WooCommerce core plugin that prevents some admin notices such as this from being dismissed. As the issue is resolved already, could you make sure WordPress, WooCommerce, and the WooCommerce database are all updated to their latest versions also.

    For updating the WooCommerce database to the latest version, feel free to use the dedicated button found in the screen at?‘WooCommerce > Status > Tools’.
