Text formatting has no effect / Please help!

Hey,
My theme doesn’t allow me to format text (with bold, italic and so on).
In my preview it shows fine, with formatting – but after posting the final result is plain text.I’m using Selecta theme: https://www.obox-design.com/themes_page.cfm/theme/selecta
The RSS feeds have the formatting.
Please help me understand what I have to modify in order to have formatting in my posts.
