    Hi

We have now 2 options for image-optimizations:

    • Lazy Load Background Images
    • Optimize Image Loading

Can you explain the differences between these two functions? Can I use them together on my site or should I leave just one of them enabled?

    Thanks

    Hello @bankyt2,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    1. Lazy Load Background Images: This feature will add the Lazy Load functionality to all the Background images on the page.
    2. Optimize Image Loading: This setting improves the rest of the images by applying fetchpriority=”high” on LCP image and loading=”lazy” on images below the fold to improve performance scores.

    I hope this helps.
