I am not able to add line break in title, excerp, meta in posts widget

I am trying to work for my homepage. And I am a begginer with blogging as well. So please help me. I am trying to add recent posts to the page. And no matter how much I try, the exerpt, headings and all elements of each posts shows this one problem you can see in the image. Here the title is long, and so as soon as the title length crosses the firts line, there’s no second line, but it starts to appear on top of the first line. This is also the same thing that happens with the excerpt, so I removed it. But need a solution. I tried finding for line break, but could not. Please help.
