The site with the issue is running on a multisite on:

    • WP Version 6.3.2
    • SQL 623 and
    • PHPv 7.4.33
    • Theme TwentyTwentyThree v1.2
    • WooCommerce updated to v8.2.1

Everything was working fine with WooCommerce version 7.9 using the payment gateways LNbits and PayPal.

Now, either both plugins/gateways are activated, are not showing up as option in the checkout page anymore!

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the payment gateways LNbits and PayPal are not showing on your site’s checkout page after updating to WooCommerce version 8.2.1, correct?

Checking on your site’s checkout page, I can see that you are using the Checkout Block. Furthermore, I can only see Direct Bank Transfer as the payment gateway here.

Please note that the Cart & Checkout Blocks are a beta feature to optimize for faster checkout. To make sure this feature is right for your store review the list of compatible extensions from the Cart & Checkout Blocks – Status page.

Meanwhile, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • Screenshot of your payment settings under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

    • System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

Thank you @xue28 for taking time checking this issue we have.

We were testing some default payments to check if were working or not, and bank transfer did (re-deactivated now)
    Here below the screenshot https://snipboard.io/Tliorz.jpg
As you can see, many payments methods are setup and active, but none of them are showing up on the checkout.

We also tried to switch theme (twentytwenty) and the gateways show up.. all of them ?? so maybe is a theme issue, not a wooCommerce one?

    Hope it helps

Thanks for getting back to us with detailed information of your testing, this is helpful!

It looks like a third-party plugin or your theme might be causing the conflict here as you’ve mentioned that after switching to a default theme, the payment methods appear on your site.

For us to investigate this further, can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

Or, if you’d like someone else to do this work for you, our trusted partner, Codeable, has an offering where they will run this test for $150 USD. If there is time left, they will also fix the problems they found.

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried Storefrond and gateways are working, same as per twentytwenty earlier.

Also tried to deactivate all plugins exeptr Woo + Gateways, but the issue persist

    Hi @superatic,

Since the payment gateways are working with the Storefront and Twenty Twenty themes, it seems this issue is likely related to your current theme or possibly a code snippet or customisation that is only active with your current theme.

Given that the issue persists even after deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce + Gateways, the theme seems to be the most likely culprit.

I recommend reaching out to your theme developers for further assistance, as they may be aware of specific compatibility issues or settings that need to be adjusted.

In the meantime, you could consider using a different theme, such as Storefront or Twenty Twenty, which we know is working correctly with your payment gateways.

Please keep us updated on your progress and don’t hesitate to ask if you have further questions or concerns.

@shameemreza It might be the WooCommerce Checkout block used in the latest themes (TT3 and TT4)

There’s a way we can have this issue prioritized and solved, instead of switching to the classic shortcodes?

It might be the WooCommerce Checkout block used in the latest themes (TT3?and?TT4)

Unless it has been customized, the Twenty Twenty-Three theme is entirely compatible with WooCommerce and shouldn’t cause this problem. Now, here are the actions I would recommend taking in this order, with checks in between:

    1. Create a staging site
    2. Update all plugins
    3. Update WooCommerce database
    4. Purge and disable the cache (on plugins and server)
    5. Perform full conflict testing

Let us know how this turns out.

There’s a way we can have this issue prioritized and solved, instead of?switching to the classic shortcodes?

Support team operates on a queue-based system, and all issues are addressed in the order they are received on the forums. However, we understand the urgency of this issue for you and can recommend hiring a developer or one of our Woo experts.

    Hope this helps.

@rainfallnixfig thanks for the suggestion, it was the first thing we did and having only woocommerce and the payment gateways plugins activated provided the same outcome.

The gateways we are using aren’t listed in the compatible extensions list so wondering, what’s the requirements to have full compatibility and support with the Cart and Checkout blocks ?

Where we can find more documentation regarding this?

    Thanks

I understand that the payment gateways you are using isn’t compatible with the Cart and Checkout Blocks. You can find the list of incompatible extensions here.

As advised, if you are using any of these extensions, we advise you keep using the shortcode-based checkout for now. We’ll be updating this list as more extensions are integrated with the new blocks.

    Hope this helps!

What we can do to improve an extension and make sure is compatible with the new blocks?
