[Plugin: Kommiku] About Dumping a chapter

    I have a little problem about dumping a chapter.
    I have a zipped file that contains image in one chapter of the story. (contains 27 pages) and are PNGs. I can’t dump it. I don’t know why. (I can dump other chapters of other mangas).

    I don’t think that because of too large file size and not because of my host ’cause when I upload the zipped file via FTP. It works normally and the file can be uploaded. In admin panel,When It stopped loading, it didn’t say anything error (like Too large or something). I’ve checked in the directory where my images should be in, There’s nothing there.

    But, When I upload a smaller zipped file (contains 21 pages), It works normally! and when I upload a bit smaller zipped file (contains 23 pages) It doesn’t work normally.

    Can you tell me what’s the problem. Maybe It because of my Internet. I think in the future I will upload other chapters that contains many pages (like 60 pages). If this still happens I think I’ll be tired when I create page by page ??

    What is your Max Upload Value?

    Ah! I got it now. It’s because of my PHP Max Upload Value (It’s 8 MB). I’ve changed it by changing .htaccess now =) (I can’t access php.ini)

    Yea. I am getting question a lot. Got to put in the FAQ to make sure the Upload Value is there.

    For anyone who is getting a similiar problem:

    Make a blank php page and put <?php phpinfo(); ?>

    Search for Max Upload. And it will tell you how big of a file you can upload to your server.

    [Ignore]I’m experiencing the same problem however, it won’t let me dump chapters period. I don’t think I have a Max Upload Value unless it’s memory_limit which is 90Mb. The chapters I am trying to upload are less than 15Mb in size.

    I just found out that my Max Upload Value is 8Mb. Is there anyway to change that?

    If you have access to your PHP.ini file, you can edit the upload value there. However… if you don’t, which you usually don’t, you will have to contact your web host provider to change it for you.
