    Hello,

    1 – What is the difference between “do not check” and “refuse”?

    2 – How can I deactivate certain persistent roles?

    On my site, buddypress members are registered as “Shop Manager” and with woo they can add products.

    What I’m trying to do, but can’t, is prevent these roles from accessing the “Chekout Form” plugin, the Marketing and Users tabs.

    Here are the roles I’ve set up. If I uncheck manage_woocommerce, the member no longer has access to the dashboard.

    Hi @gwenm

    What do you mean by difference between “do not check” and “refuse”. Is it one of the options you see in Members panel?

    The Users tab will not be visible when you uncheck permissions on Members > Edit Role > Users tab.

    The best way to hide admin menus in WordPress Dashboard is to use one of the admin plugins like Admin Menu Editor.
