Subscriber confirmation email NOT sent

People who subscribe to our blog on are no longer receiving a confirmation email to confirm their request to subscribe to the blog.? ??The following confirmation ?appears when they subscribe – ?“Thanks! You are now subscribed to SSI Garden Club as <email address>”. ??They have tried many times with the same result. What is the likely cause of this problem?? I am using Jetpack. The following default success message is not working. “Success! An email was just sent to confirm your subscription. Please find the email now and click ‘Confirm Follow’ to start subscribing.” Is it possible to view the unconfirmed subscriptions?
