When I try to activate this plugin, it requires that I deactivate my current Braintree (“official”) plugin that I have been using. This would mess up all of the existing subscriptions. Is there a way to leave the other Braintree plugin running in the background while using this plugin to take over all front end orders and new subscriptions?

    Hi @jsnbrn

This would mess up all of the existing subscriptions.

It will not. Our plugin is designed to seamlessly process subscriptions created using the Braintree plugin developed by WooCommerce. When you deactivate that plugin and activate our plugin, it will automatically handle the subscription renewals. You can test this on a staging site if you’d like to confirm for yourself.

We have that check in place to prevent conflicts which have been reported to us by plugin users. It’s to prevent your site from experiencing any down time.

Two things… First, thank you for clearing up my incorrect assumption. I’m glad to hear that I don’t have to fear messing up my existing subscriptions. Second, this is the fastest support I’ve received in 10+ years of WordPress experience. Thank you.
