    Hi.

I have an issue with schema relating to PublishPress which was found via RankMath support.

    RankMath response:

After deeply debugging your website, we discovered that the issue stems from a specific plugin called “PublishPress Authors”.

It appears that this plugin is manipulating our schema structure.

Can you please contact them and ask them to disable it from their end?

See Unspecified type image example below.

Are you are able to fix this?

    Thank you

    Hi @jason2020

    Thanks for using our plugin.

Could you please provide a sample URL for us to examine the schema?

@jason2020 Can you please temporarily deactivate our plugin and retest the schema to check if it resolves the issue?

Deactivated, issue and schema went, activated and it came back with the issue.

Can you let me know the versions of RankMath and PublishPress Authors you are using?

I’ve conducted tests, and I didn’t encounter the issue you mentioned

    Hello,

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you with this one.

@jason2020 Could you please deactivate the Rank Math Pro and let us know if the issue persists?

Since I tested only using Rank Math Free + PublishPress Authors and did not encounter the issue you mentioned, I was wondering if the Pro version of RankMath might be causing it.

I deactivated RM Pro and still had the issue. After deactivating both RM and RM Pro the problem went –alongside the schema.

Do you believe the problem is with RM? As I can send them this thread.

    Thanks

No, that is not the issue. When you removed RankMath Free & Pro, indeed, the problem was resolved because the schema is created by RankMath, and if you deactivate them, the schema will also disappear.

Despite having the same version for both PublishPress Authors and RankMath, I did not encounter this issue in our environment. Challenges arise when we are unable to replicate the issue.

We fear that this issue is specific to your site, meaning it only occurs on your site.

In such cases, we usually require login access to the site for further troubleshooting. However, asking for login access to a site is prohibited in this forum, as outlined in this guideline: www.ads-software.com Forum Guidelines.

This is why our Pro users have access to our private helpdesk, where they can securely share login details.

If you decide to upgrade to the Pro version, you can purchase our plugin here (Currently, we have Cyber Monday sale), and then open a support ticket here.

If you choose to continue with the free version, we will need more information on how we can replicate this issue in a new, fresh WordPress installation.

Thanks for the update from your side.

I am awaiting a response from RM and will get back to you.

    Hi.

I have been back in touch with RM and they replicated the issue with anew wordpress install and standard them.

    Here is there response:

I was able to reproduce this with minimal setup (WordPress default theme, RankMath PRO, and PublishPress Authors plugins installed).

I exported pages from your site authored by Jason (see image below for import filters)

and imported that into a new WordPress installation; and viewing the two pages that successfully imported I see error logs related to Undefined array key "@type" in... and Attempt to read property "ID" on null in ...... /plugins/publishpress-authors/src/modules/author-boxes/classes/AuthorBoxesEditorFields.php on line 515

Exported pages file at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JTmgZpEuVaqz2HVp7QkhydRVQdQhp1mG/view?usp=sharing ( but will require access request to access).

Could you please share these details with PublishPress Authors plugin team and let us know of their response.

I will await your response then hopefully get this issue moving forward to a resolve.

    Thanks

@jason2020 As we mentioned before, we cannot provide support over commercial plugin in this forum. RankMath PRO is a commercial plugin.

We could help you investigate this issue if you have PublishPress Authors Pro, so you can get access to our private helpdesk.

    Thanks,

I have purchased and installed the pro version despite not requiring its features.
