Pages which are not currently active

Hi,

I have a number of pages on my existing site which are not active. For instance detailed description of training events.

I want to copy this info across to the WP site but I don’t want it to appear in the menu – which shows parent and child pages.

I thought the best way to do that would be to make the pages grand children but not create a link to them from the parent or child page. Then when I want to move them to the front I can swap the settings accordingly.

Does anyone have another solution?
