Error establishing a database connection

    Hello, today it just happened and i just can’t get any clue about it, error: Error establishing a database connection. Built this blog like 1 month ago and no problem since then, yesterday i even updated it and there were no problems. Today when i woke up i saw the error and started checking wp-config file, settings are all correct, no changes but still blog doesn’t work, i even built a small php file that checks the connection to the database and it told me: connection established.     Please need a help hand here or i’m ruined.

    to start with, try:

    1. checking with your server for any problems at their end.
    2. checking your wp-config.php file to make sure the domain info there is current and valid.
    3. If you have access to your database, in the wp_options table, make sure ‘siteurl’ (should be record 2)is set to the correct domain.

    Backup your DB before touching it
