    Hi

So on this page I want to lay out the logos, below ‘our sustaining members’

All logos side by side, with only two lines of logos.

The site isn’t allowing me to align or set up the logos that way.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,

    Mark

To arrange things like that in an organized fashion, try a Group block: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/group-block/

Another option would be to use the columns block. In column then can have a logo. You can make another column block and repeat, or, place two logos in each column where the image block is below each other.

Thank you for the answer. I am almost there, but I was using those columns (4 per) and instead of being 4 across, it made the images 4 down (below each other).

Can you pls tell me what I did wrong? Thanks!

Instead of being across, it might have been that you added the images into the first column only. I’ve done that in the past since selecting the column can be finicky.

I used my Glaciers WordPress theme to try this out. I added some screenshots (see below), but to insert an image into the next column, click in the area you think the next column is and then double-check the bottom of the editor window and see what the path shows…it should show the “column” is active.

    Here are the screenshots:

The last one is the front-end view in mobile where they go vertical.

To balance the logos on each line, I would recommend putting more white space on some of them. Make each logo image the same height and vertically align centered and middle. Such as this example:

Thank you so much, but something went wrong.

Can you pls check? Now there are too many of the same text and images. I have no idea what went wrong. Please help.

    Thank you!
I tried to work it, now it looks like it doubled everything on the page and also the blocks didn’t seem to work.

When you have the page open in your editor, does it show two sections with those logo groups? If so, delete the first one. The second one looks good on my end, which is the one that is in the columns block.

    Hi there

In the editor, it looks right to me. But when I preview it’s all wrong, and the logos are there multiple places, as is the rest of the content.

    Pls advise.

    Thanks!

Still looks OK on my end, but this is the live front-end view. At the moment, I see your original layout and then further below is the duplicate but done with the columns block:

    logo-layout.png

Can you show a screenshot of what you are seeing?

    Hi

I was trying to send a screenshot but couldn’t see how to do that here. How do you do that?

On my editor, it looks right, but when I preview it shows the whole page 3 times and none of the logos are the way it looks like in the editor, which is correct.

    Please advise and thank you!

For screenshots, I use screencast.com which is free and when you want to share images or videos with others. Try that…still curious to see what you are seeing. It’s actually hard to determine without being in your site; the next best thing will be a screenshot.

    Thanks for that.
    Here is that screenshare. https://app.screencast.com/DweubhLy2zYFX

    I appreciate it.

It shows that everything is as I wanted it.

Sorry I should have told you that when I see it as a preview, it shows the old page (logos not placed properly) and all the info is there, twice. One long scroll, with two of everything. Like one page, then the other, exactly the same, below.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the screenshot. This shows that you are loading your page in the Classic Editor. I’m also looking at your source code of your page…it almost looks like there are things in the wrong places, as in a broken layout.

For this page with the logos on it, did you make this page in the classic editor or the block editor?

I also see a metaslider rotating slides, but don’t see the slides in your content.

Whichever editor you are using for this page, could you copy and paste the page source code from the editor here? I’m curious to see how this was made up and it looks like you have a mix of coding from both editors–this could be the problem you are experiencing.

Thanks again. I think it was created with the Classic editor, but since you suggested to use the blocks for the images, that is what I did.

I see the slides on my side.

It’s not letting me to insert the source code here. ??

Now, when I preview the page from the editor, it shows it all wrong, and the content is there 3 times. And the logos are not as I see it.

Thanks for trying to help us. I don’t know what to do….Frustrated.
