I modified the Front Page template to a design that I like. However, with that template active for Home, it only allows me to edit it within Edit Site––NOT Edit Page. If I click on Edit Page on the homepage, it brings me to the standard boilerplate template (preconfigured in the theme) and not the one I designed. It says Front Page for that template. This is very confusing.

Hey @chrisnawoichik! Any changes you make to a template, will only be editable in the site editor. In the site editor, if you add a ‘Content’ block, you will be able to edit the page in the Page editor, and that content will appear where the ‘Content’ block is. The way this theme is set up, you would only want to edit the front page template in the site editor.

As an alternative, you can create a blank template with just the ‘Content’ block, edit a page and apply this template, and then manually set this page as the front page.
