Still having IE6-specific banner troubles

Hi,

My new site is at michaelgaither.com/home. I have a text-based navigation bar under the header/banner. It looks fine in all browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE 8)…but in IE 6, it uses the wrong background color and looks really wonky.

(I know IE 6 is an older version, but I’m getting a lot of feedback from people who still run it.)

Do I need to modify my header.php file to resolve attempt to fix this?
