    Hi @bestworldprocom

Thanks for using Yoast SEO plugin and reaching out to us.

We understand that you are noticing 2 sitemaps in your website. If you are noticing a sitemap within the URL /sitemap.xml kindly note that its not generated by Yoast SEO plugin. The sitemap generated by Yoast SEO plugin is within the URL /sitemap_index.xml

So, can you confirm whether the Yoast Sitemap is enabled within the settings page or not? Also, can you please share the website URL to check this further, as without it we cannot confirm the issue you are facing at your end.

Regarding the error Duplicate without User-selected Canonical:

This tells that the page is a duplicate of another page, although it doesn’t?indicate a preferred canonical page. Google has chosen the other page as the canonical for this page, and so will not serve this page in search.

This is not an error but is working as intended?because Google does not serve?duplicate pages. However, if you think that Google has chosen the wrong URL as canonical, you can?explicitly mark the canonical for this page.

The Yoast SEO-generated XML sitemap index is at /sitemap_index.xml/ while /page-sitemap.xml/ is a child sitemap under the index. They aren’t duplicates. /wp-sitemap-posts-page-1.xml?/ is likely the default WordPress sitemap or another plugin is responsible.

if you say this page sitemap https://prnt.sc/8EbwdXrJUi2t not from Yoast , then why its show clearly generated??by Yoast?

Like I mentioned above, it’s a child sitemap under the sitemap index created by Yoast SEO. It’s not a duplicate.

It isn’t necessary to remove the page-sitemap.xml from the sitemap_index.xml. When you submit your sitemap to Google or any other search engine though, its important to only submit the main sitemap_index.xml URL. Google will then read all of the child sitemaps, including page-sitemap, and the URLs that each child sitemap contains. So you only need to submit sitemap_index.xml and not the child sitemaps it contains.
