    Using TranslatePress, I have successfully translated the whole website into French. It took me a while to figure out why there was a break after bolded text, but I found the answer to that also!

    CF7 has messages such as “Thank you for your message. It has been sent.”, “One or more fields have an error. Please check and try again.”, “Please fill out this field.”, etc. Please see https://contactform7.com/editing-messages/ for more.

    Can I translate those messages using TranslatePress? If not, can I create a French form in CF7 and add the shortcode manually to the French Contact page?

    We deeply apologize for the delayed response.

    There has been a great load on our support team in the past few days, but such a long reply time is very uncommon.

    You should be able to translate those messages in the String Translation Interface – Gettext or Regular tab. You can find them more easily using the Search option on the right, searching for the keywords in those messages. It might be necessary to activate the ‘Show regular strings tab in String Translation’ option in TranslatePress Advanced Settings – Debug if it’s not enabled.

    If you can’t find them in the String Translation Interface, you can click on ‘Translate Page’ on the page where the respective form appears, and you can trigger the messages yourself. It may be necessary to select View Website As – Logged out and click on them with the pencil icon to check if you can translate them from the Translation Editor.

    If none of the above options works in your case, you can create a French form and add it using the Conditional Shortcode Based on Language option. This way, each form will appear on the page based on the selected language.
