• I am having troubles on mobiles/ smaller devices with my headings on the web pages and the text of longer words break. I cannot seem to find a way to make the font size smaller on mobile, without changing it on desktop devices as well.

The issue I face is I’ve created my web pages using templates, then selected the templates on each page. This means I cannot use Elementor as these are web editor templates. Also I’ve tried some CSS but it doesn’t seem to be working, as it does not make the changes I need.

Any help or work arounds will be massively appreciated.

  • Hello @finbow, How did you build your templates? or did you import them from somewhere? If they are compatible with Elementor, then you should just edit fine with Elementor.

I’ve used a template for each individual page of the website.

I created each template using the site editor (not imported) – I view them under Design > Templates

I cannot find how these templates can be edited with Elementor, if this is a solution?

I think I found it, clicking on edit with elementor once editing the ‘page’ I guess elementor will then carry onto the selected template?

Another new issue: I am now getting an error: You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.

This is the same for all me templates created, is there a way round this?
