    That doesn’t sound right. The WPSSO Strip Schema Microdata add-on simply removes old Schema microdata markup that used to be added in theme templates. I don’t see how that would influence a canonical meta tag in the webpage header. Looking at the webpage URL you provided https://oceanswardrobe.xen.co.za, I can find the canonical meta tag in the head section as expected:

    <link rel="canonical" href="https://oceanswardrobe.xen.co.za/"/>

    You can see for yourself by right-clicking on the webpage and choosing “View Source”, then searching for “canonical” in the webpage HTML.

    Note that https://oceanswardrobe.xen.co.za/ is not an AMP webpage URL. Are you having issues with https://oceanswardrobe.xen.co.za/ or another webpage?

    Thank you I appreciate your confirmation of what I found. I seriously do not know what the AMP people are on about. I have just completed a full health scan, as well as error log sending them the info. Thank you ever so much.

    If you’re having an issue with an AMP webpage and provide the URL to an example AMP webpage on your site, and describe the issue on that webpage, I might be able to offer some insight.

    Thank you JS, I have sent a complete site health scan and error log to them. It will likely take a while for action. in those there is no reference to wpsso except the micro data relating to manufacturers part number.

    kind regards

    Hugh
