    Hi Ben,

I’d like to change the standard WordPress text color palette. Color information is stored in theme.json file, which not theme-dependent as far as I know.

Any way you could think of, to place this color information/theme.json file in the child theme folder and override the standard theme.json?

    Thanks,
    Markus

    Hi Markus,

Apex doesn’t use a theme.json file, so while you can place one in the child theme, I’m not sure if it will get used since because it isn’t loaded by the parent theme.

    Hi Ben,

ok thanks. I tried to put in a custom theme.json, but this is not working.

I edited the global theme.json and have to keep in mind, that I have to check/change this file whenever there’s a WordPress update.

    Cheers,
    Markus
