• Can you please just document what is available and exactly how to use the API? You can do that in this response for others looking for help as well if you dont want to update the documentation on your website. this is such a powerful and unique feature, it really is the only plugin doing it, so please help and add methods and params!

I reviewed your plugin files, and seems to be using the same generate_short_link function… could you please add all the properties from you UI as allowed URL paramters to be passed to create link function? Only Traget URL is available now, but Title, custom short URL part, redirection type, Follow/No-follow, sponsored, tracking, param forwarding, and notes… those seem they would all be easy to add as allowed paramters in the API call from the looks of how you are processing using the same helper functions.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Apologies for the delay in the implementation of the full REST API.

We are working on it and full API will be available in the first week of January.

    Please bare with us.

    Thank you for your patience.?

I have just purchased the URL Shortify Pro subscription and need the API description please.

I relied on your statement that the API description will be released in the first week of January.

Thank you for sending me the API description. ??

    Hello,

    Thanks for your purchase.

Sorry for the delay in API implementation.

We want to inform you that we are still working on API implementation and complete it by next week. Once we release the new version of the plugin, we will inform you.

    Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the quick feedback here.

    Well that’s a bit disappointing.

I don’t want to imply that it might not work out next week with the completion of the API.

However, I kindly ask for feedback that in the event that the API is not ready, I ask for confirmation that I may exercise my right of withdrawal even after 14 days (from the date of purchase per license), since, as I said, I relied on your statement here about the API release when I bought it today.

Hey is there any news regarding the API available?

It′s been 2 weeks from my last post.. where you stated the new API will be ready in these days..?

It is a forbidden topic. Why?

Even when the plugin advertises REST API as a Feature:

?? REST API to create short links.
Able to create short links using WordPress REST API from anywhere.

    Hello,

Sorry for the delay in REST API documentation.

Here are quick details on how REST API will work. We will share the document once it’s ready.

You can access various API endpoints with your basic Authentication using Application Password if you are using WordPress 5.6 or higher.

To generate a short API link, you need to make a POST request to the following endpoint.

    https://example.com/wp-json/url-shortify/v1/links

You need to pass url parameter with the target URL that you want to shorten.

Hope this is a good start.

We will keep you posted the full documentation link once it’s ready.

That is not a good start. That is as bare bones of an API document as I have ever seen. You guys really need to invest into opening up other paramters of the link creation API, and properly document it. STOP DELAYING, Stop being lazy!

You have advertised this as a feature of your plugin. It is not a feature of your plugin, it is not possible to use your plugin to generate links programatically currently.

Please refund my purchase prices, I have sent multiple ticket requests for this!
