Hi, is there a way to configure unique SEO meta title and descriptions for each ‘directory type’ archive pages. Even though the directory type is created as a wordpress taxonomy, yoast configuration fields are not visible on directory builder pages

    Hello @lasithhh

    Thank you for asking.

We do not have any specific archive page for a specific directory type. But, you can create one by using the shortcode or widget. For example, you can create a page for Car archive by using the following shortcode –

    [directorist_all_listing directory_type="car"]

Then you can use Yoast SEO plugin settings to set this page’s title, description, and other options.

You can learn more about directorist shortcodes here – All Listings Page (directorist.com)

Please inform us if you need further assistance.

    Regards

    Hi, Thanks for the reply.
I want to utilize the specific archive page links for directory types instead of creating custom pages.
Taking your example into consideration, let’s assume my listing slug is ‘directory,’ making the archive page for cars appear as /directory/car. This follows the conventional taxonomy archive page URL format in WordPress. Is there a method to modify the meta details of these archive pages? In WordPress, when we need to adjust the meta details of category archive pages, we can easily edit this information within the category edit pages. However, for Directorist, even though the directory type is a custom taxonomy named ‘atbdp-directory-types,’ there seems to be no option to edit meta details.
