Hi, trying to attempt to use the add to cart url function within google merchant center. Seems on the google side it uses a “gla_<item#>” for each product but this isn’t how WordPress/woocommerce defines the product number and such gives error. Is there a way for google listings and ads plugin to use the woocommerce item number?

    Hello ruinous101,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support!

I understand you’re looking to integrate the Add To Cart URL function within Google Merchant Center and are finding inconsistencies with the product identifiers.

To use the Add to Cart URL feature for your WooCommerce products, the URL structure you’ll want to apply is as follows:
    https://yourdomain.com/?add-to-cart=25&quantity=1

In the above URL, 25 should be replaced with the Product ID of the item you wish to add to the cart.

To help you more effectively, could you please outline the steps you’ve been taking to implement the Add to Cart URL within the Google Merchant Center?

Additionally, it would be very helpful if you could share a screenshot of the error that you’re encountering. This will allow me to gain a better understanding of the issue and provide you with an accurate solution.

Looking forward to your response to assist you further! ??
