I can’t seem to use the Woocommerce analytics, everytime I try it tells me there’s an error and that I need to reload, and when I reload I get an error establishing a database connection and have to wait 10 minutes (my site still functions but going to the cart or trying to log in I get an error establishing database connection error)

I need the analytics because I file VAT for the UK (I’m in the US) and I’ve been using Woocommerce reports for this but now there’s a pop up saying at the end of the year reports by country will no longer work, so I won’t have access to the UK sales. What can I do to resolve this issue?

    Hi @fyrakins,

The issue with the analytics could be due to a plugin conflict or a server-side issue. I would recommend deactivating all plugins except WooCommerce and see if the issue persists. If it does, please get in touch with your hosting provider and ask them to check your server logs for any issues.

In regards to the database connection error, it might be due to your database server being down or unresponsive. You might need to contact your hosting provider to ensure your database server is running correctly.

Additionally, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you with a more accurate solution.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
