Updated plugin – site broken

    I’ve just updated the plugin on my mosque website, and it’s broken the site, including the admin page.

    Error is as below. Any help appreciated!

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’, expecting ‘;’ or ‘{‘ in?/home/lxbkmg1pvo7r/public_html/wp-content/plugins/daily-prayer-time-for-mosques/Models/DPTHelper.php?on line?73

    So this is to do with the PHP version which I’m not in a position to update at the moment. I’ve manually edited some files to remove new features you’ve used from PHP 7 (specifying the data type returned by a function) and got the site up and running again.

    Alhamdulillah and jazakallah khairan.

    The older versions of php are not supported anymore and prone to bug and vulnerabilities. I would ask your hosting provider to update the php version to the latest.
