remove date and author from post

  • On my posts, i have comments enabled and i have the date and the author displayed.

    There is one post however, where i do not want the date and author displayed or the comments box displayed.

    i have worked out that i can choose “quick edit” and then uncheck the comments and ping boxes and voila, no comments.

    i’m not sure how i can go about removing the author and date in a similarly easy way?

    the procedure depends on the the theme you are using. can you share a link to the website so volunteers on this forum can inspect the code?
