    Would it be possible to use Pretty Link Pro just as a cloaker with a different base URL without it interfering with a URL shortener?

    xts.ff

    PLP would not populate the shortlink field of WP, the URL shortener would.
    Plugins would then be able to use xts.ff to send links to social networks.
    PLP would track affiliate links only.
