Hi, I created a simple automation to send an email once an order is received. Testing it the emails fail to be sent with the following error:

error: Action execution prevented because action contains delay configuration, but ShopMagic Delayed Actions extension is not active.

In the email editing settings, I don’t have even the option to configure delay settings (the checkbox that is shown in your documentation), and I don’t need the delay functionality, so I am not sure why I am receiving this error.

    Can you please help?

    Thanks

    Hello Maurice

In that case, please send us a screenshot of your automation configuration. It should include all information: what event you use if you have any filters set up, and most importantly, the whole action settings.

    This would help us investigate.

Could you confirm, do you want the emails to be sent with delays?

    Hello @rzepsen

Here is a screenshot of my automation configuration. As you can see, I don’t even have the option to set a delay and I don’t need a delay. Also, no filters are configured,

As for the delays, I DON’T want them to be sent in delay, just to be sent as soon as an order is received.

When placing an order the logs show the error I mentioned above.

Just to note that the test emails are being sent correctly.

    Thanks!

    Hi Maurice,

Many thanks for sending more details. Have you used this automation from the recipe? Our plugin gives ready-to-use recipes that also provide for the use of paid add-ons. It has fixed options, e.g. delays, which only work with paid add-ons.

Could you tell me does this automation was built from scratch? If not, try to build your automation with the same setup you’ve sent me on a screen.

You will be sure that your automation does not have hidden functions available in the mentioned recipes.

If the automation was created from scratch, could you report this issue directly to the official plugin channel?

    Ok

Could you use Pre-sale Question option?

The solution to the problem turned out to be creating the automation from scratch.
