My site successfully sends emails for New orders and Notes Added, but does not even attempt to send Failed Order emails.

I have copied/pasted the known good email address (From the New Order field) and even changed email addresses and attempted a new ordered with a deliberately incorrect cvv code. The transaction obviously failed but I never receive a Failed Order.

I use SMTP2Go and I can check the logs. The New Order emails are send and received but there is no record for Failed Orders.

    Hi @tmckee,

By default, the system sends failed order notifications to the admin only. So, if you’re not getting these notifications, you might need to check if you’ve enabled the “Enable this email notification” option. To do this, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > Failed Order. If this option is unchecked, the system won’t try to send these emails.

Also, if you have added multiple email recipients, ensure a comma separates them without any space.

If everything is correct but still not working, we recommend checking our Email FAQ to troubleshoot email related issues.

Additionally, if you want to send failed order notifications to the customer, you can use an additional plugin like AutomateWoo or ShopMagic.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
