I have a healthcare website that I plan on using these forms on. We will not be taking any sensitive information (so no HIPAA) but still because the information will be health related we need to use a very reputable form builder with a lot of safety and encryption, on that is used on other healthcare websites.

Does anyone know if this form builder will be okay to use/ had been used in healthcare websites?

    Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out about this today.

We’re not HIPAA compliant. Having said this we take security seriously and any new security report is handle by our development team with the require seriousness.

All data is stored in your WordPress database, so it is as secure as you make your WordPress installation. So long as you add encryption and have followed best practices when setting up your site, then it should be safe to store sensitive data on your site.

While Formidable does not include any native support for encrypted fields – there is a 3rd party tutorial here that shows how to add encryption:?https://victorfont.com/encrypt-decrypt-formidable-form-fields/

    Thanks a lot Jonathan!

I have a question, if I configure all my form data to go to Hubspot or any CRM, is there any ever any data stored on WordPress?

We’ll be more than happy to help you with this question and any additional you have. The WordPress forums are meant to support the free version of the plugin.

    Best,

@utilisdesign00 Once you have set up your API action to send the form submissions to a CRM, you can go to the individual form settings, under the tab General, scroll down to On Submit, and select Do not store entries submitted from this form.

You may also wish to go to Formidable Forms Global Settings and select Do not store IPs with form submissions, and if you aim to remove unnecessary cookies and do not intend to limit entries for each person (which sets a browser cookie), you can disable it.
