• If you have a repeating event that ends, say on Dec. 31, 2023 and you want to keep it repeating to a later date, say Dec. 31, 2024, you click “Edit Repetition Pattern”. If you click the calendar icon and navigate to the new end date that you want, and then update the event. it is extended as you expect. However, if you simply type in the new end date, IT IS IGNORED and the event repetition pattern does not change. if you are trying to extend the repetition pattern for more than a month or so, typing the end date is MUCH FASTER than searching for it on the calendar. In addition, when I am given the option on typing the new date and it does not work, I end up spending several hours trying to figure out why.

    There are two simple solutions:

    1. Make the typed date work! This is the preferrable solution, or
    2. Eliminate the field that accepts a type date and force the user to use the calendar icon.

  • I’m having this issue as well, and also the update event button does not work on MacOS and iOS.

I’m exploring this; it should set the date when it’s typed in, and I’m looking at it to restore that.

Found the issue with the dates not changing when typed; that’ll be in the next release.

@kraigseer If you’re having an issue that’s unrelated to this, please open a new support request, if you can.
