• I am having serious trouble getting into my WordPress dashboard. I recently changed server and moved all files and database from my old CPanel to a the new CPanel. When I do Hadizafrench.com/wp-admin, it takes me to the login page, but when I input username and password, nothing happens. It simply clears and return to the login page. I have created a new .htaccess, disabled all plugins, disabled current theme, changed permission on WP-Content, WP-Admin and still nothing. When I try to go to WordPress through softaculous, it says error 403 forbidden. Please can anyone help me solve this problem? THANK YOU!

  • It appears like a user access issue with your host. Have you tried to open a support ticket? I doubt that this is an issue with the WP installation itself.

Yes I have spoken to my hosting company and they don’t seem to know what the problem is. I highly doubt it is a user access issue. Because I have given all privileges to the user in PHPMyAdmin. Right now, I can no longer even access the Wp-admin login page. It goes straight to error 404.

    Hi hadizafrench,

By all means this is not a WordPress issue per se. What I can advise is that you revert to your old cPanel, then create a staging site, and then create a copy of your website on the staging site.

Now do the cPanel migration on the staging site. test out everything and get all the stuff to be working correctly. only then can you move the live site to the new cPanel

I hope it works out well
