Hi, happy new year! I hope you are fine!

I’m back using your plugin, seems now the loading screen is showed correctly in all page and subpage. I have just one issue that I don’t see how to resolve and why happen.

Even if the plugin is configured to show loading on all pages, the loading is not showed in the home page. If I change plugin settings and put to load only to home page works, if I put back the settings to loading on all page works and.. after some minutes, the loading screen is no more showed in the home page. Seems after a while from when I set the settings to work correctly, the loading screen is no more showed in the home page.

Any idea on how can diagnose why this happen and understand if I could do something to fix this? If you load my website now you should not see the loading in the home page, even if is activated. Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @peopleinside

The issue seems to be related to the plugin you use for caching the website. Please try visiting the following link:

    https://www.peopleinside.it/?nocache=1

If it defers the script execution, it will delay the loading screen after the page is loaded.

    Best regards.

For resolve the issue I tried to remove the cache plugin that I use: WP Speed of Light and I tried to install other cache plugin but the issue, once a cache plugin is active, still be the same.

Seems is not important what cache plugin I’m using, if a cache plugin is active I have issue, with your plugin, loader in home page.

Now I asked to the cache plugin developer if they can help me but… again is not just that cache plugin that have issues with your loader in my website home page.

    Hello @peopleinside

I’m checking your website from different browsers, and the loading screen is loading fine. Also, I see the “W3 Total Cache” plugin is active. So, I guess you have configured it to allow both plugins to work together.

    Best regards.

@codepeople first thanks for your fast and kind reply and let me say again your plugin is amazing!

Yes now I have configured W3 Total Cache that was giving the same error but running the wizard I find maybe settings that works. I’m glad to know you are using it and works, I will monitor in the next hours because the issue usually get present after a while not immediately.

    Thank you again! <3

Nothing, issue come back again even with W3 Total cache. I really don’t know why I have this issue on my two websites. Currently the issue come back again at marcoborla.it where is active W3 Total cache.

So as I said, different cache plugin but I still have the issue and really don’t know what I can do for fix this.

Now I try to going in W3 Page cache settings and disable home page caching. I’m not happy with this but I try that.. anyway I have issue with all cache plugin. I installed today W3 Total cache for try to resolve, removed the other cache plugin that was using but I found issue with very different cache plugin I tried.

    Hello @peopleinside

I’ll try to describe the issue cause. The cache plugins usually have a section to optimize JavaScript files. Most of them allow combining the JavaScript file and deferring their load. But when you activate both options in cache plugins, they create a unique JavaScript file and load it after the page is ready and has loaded the rest of the resources. So, when the website evaluates our plugin script, the page is completely loaded, the loading screen becomes unnecessary, and it is not displayed.

The solution would be to exclude from this process the jQuery library and our plugin files (files into the path “/wp-content/plugins/loading-page”).

    Best regards.

Thanks, I will see how I can resolve.
Why this issue happen only on the home page? If happen on the full site will be a bigger issue, lucky the issue is only on the home page.

I know cache plugin has sections to section to optimize JavaScript files. The strange thing is that activating WP Speed of Light seems you don’t need customize settings as they are already good and I checked that Java Script was not limited.

Anyway I asked help on cache plugins and also I’m still working to find a solution to exclude your plugin files. I’m now trying a different cache plugin while waiting support from others cache plugin.

Curious this issue just happen on the home page ??

Thanks again for your time and your help. Have a nice week end, Sunday ??

Hi, at the end I never find a solution for this issue.
Today morning I decided to try to come back to this loading plugin and I tried a many cache plugin and with all the loading was not working on the home page on two websites.

I see in other two websites is working also if sometimes can happen rarely for some seconds the loading is not showed in the home page. I’m sure any cache plugin I tried has no JS optimization enabled. I also tried to disable the cache on the home page but also this never works.

I had once again to return to my other loading plugin used. The curious thing is that the issue with your plugin is only on the home page. Anyway.. as I cannot see the home page load badly, I returned to the old plugin used by me also if I want move to yours.
