    Hello,

    I couldn’t find a solution anywhere and this issue started happening as of recent but sometimes my Simply Static would only export my site with an empty zip file or will have some broken links. Please note I run WordPress on LocalWP.

    The following errors I have received within the debug file:
    1. [class-ss-url-fetcher.php:106] We encountered an error when fetching: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 30008 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

    2. [class-ss-url-fetcher.php:107] <small>C:\Users\name\Local Sites\user-name\app\public\wp-content\plugins\simply-static\src\class-ss-util.php:165:</small>object(WP_Error)[1151] public ‘errors’ => array(size=1) ‘http_request_failed’ => array(size=1) 0 => <small>string</small> ‘cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 30008 milliseconds with 0 bytes received’ (length=81) ¨C11C ‘error_data’ => ¨C12C ¨C13C ¨C14C ¨C15C ‘additional_data’ => ¨C16C ¨C17C ¨C18C
    [2024-01-16 06:57:56] [class-ss-fetch-urls-task.php:58] URL: C:/Users/name/Local Sites/user-name/app/public/wp-content/plugins/simply-static//src/integrations/simply-cdn/assets/ssh-form-webhook.js

    The other errors are just quite similar to the top ones.

    Appreciate any assistance with this ??

    Hello niteshloll. I’m sorry you are having a issue exporting your site. I would recommend checking the Diagnostics screen available in the WordPress dashboard by navigation to Simply Static > Settings > Diagnostics. This screen will display items that may have a compatibility issue with Simply Static in your hosting environment. From the error, your site may be having trouble making requests to itself. If so, below is a link to our troubleshooting guide on the topic:

    Hi sr293,

    Appreciate your asistance and prompt reply! I’ve checked Diagnostics, the only issue there is the SSL being flagged, everything else is good. Please notw because I am running this on LocalWP, I don’t have an SSL connected. Could you please advise on the next step I could take to troubleshoot?

    Thank you very much ??

    Update: I downloaded a SSL plugin which resolved that issue but then the “make requests to itself” issue popped up. I went to the functions.php of my child theme and changed the code to the one you stated.

    In diagnostics, everything was green. When I exported the zip file, it was pretty much empty. Unsure what else to do now.
