  • Hi @apsara19,

Is it a plugin created by you or one from the WordPress repository? What error are you getting or what exactly does it mean that you can’t upload it?

It is not a plugin from WordPress repository. It is a plugin Author of InkTheme.

    The Error

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

What sort of path is wp-Apsara/HOME-PILOT BEACH RESORT? Is that the root installation path for WP? Or is it where you tried to install the plugin?

While you could install WP there, it’s not where plugins belong. Relative to the WP installation’s root folder, new plugins normally belong in a new folder in /wp-content/plugins/, but it is possible to specify alternative paths for /wp-content/, so YMMV.

Anyway, if the plugin is zipped into a properly structured file on your local computer, using the Upload Plugin button from the new plugins screen and choosing the .zip file will cause WP to install the plugin in the right location where ever it is.

If you get an error in doing this or when activating the plugin, there’s something wrong with the plugin’s code. I recommend seeking further guidance from the plugin’s developer through their dedicated support channel.
