    Hi,

The link Stop Notifying Me (in the post overview table) is not working.

I have this issue on three websites on three different servers, with plugin version 4.0.2 as well as 3.12.2.

Disabling all other plugins gave the same result. I don’t know if it was working before because I never used it before. The Notify Me link does work btw.

Any help is welcome! Thank you!

    Hi @ldwd

Thanks for reporting this to us.

We are able to replicate the issue and have created a GitHub issue so our developer can fix this in the future release. In case you need it, this is the link: https://github.com/publishpress/PublishPress-Planner/issues/1539

    Thanks,

    Hi @rizaardiyanto,

I followed the thread on GitHub and see you marked it as completed. This is not resolved though. As I said the Notify Me link works fine. Once set, it is the Stop Notifying Me link that does not work. Even though it is set as the the only option:

So while the link is there, it simply doesn’t respond to a click. The only way to stop notifications is to open the post, remove my name from the Notify Me metabox and hit Update, but that’s not very efficient.

This is happening on three different websites on different servers. You confirmed the bug earlier, what did you experience?

@ldwd We were able to replicate it before, but somehow not anymore.

Can you please check this recording?

This recording show you when I click “Stop notifying me” for my author user.

When I did so, the notification did not trigger notification for author.

Let me know if I missed something.

    Thanks,

Yes this should be the default behavior. But this is not the case with my websites. When I click Notify Me the link changes to Stop Notifying Me and my name is added to the Notifications metabox. When I click on the Stop Notifying Me link nothing happens.

This issue occurs on regular pages and custom post types.

So this works fine on regular posts?

On my recording, I test it using regular posts.

@rizaardiyanto, my apologies, I meant regular posts and pages, and custom post types.

@ldwd We are still unable to replicate this issue. Can you please check if you could replicate this issue in fresh WordPress installation?

    Thanks,

@rizaardiyanto, I tried on a fresh instawp installation and it works fine there, so it may have to do with server settings or restrictions on JavaScript/Ajax or so? I now have the issue of 4 websites (3 different servers) so if you have any tips, please advice ??

@ldwd We will not be able to give any suggestions without proper troubleshooting on the site.

Unfortunately, asking for login details is against the guidelines of this forum (www.ads-software.com?Forum Guidelines).

Our Pro users have the advantage of accessing our private helpdesk, allowing for direct troubleshooting on their sites.

Considering the complexity of the issue, we recommend upgrading to the Pro version so we can address and troubleshoot it directly on your site.

@rizaardiyanto Thanks for your reply. For now I made a workaround: I use Admin Columns Pro plugin which allows custom fields and inline editing in the post table, so we can delete the user from Notify Me box without opening the post.

I do have another, non-related question, please alert me if I should create a separate topic. Is it possible to export posts including Editorial Comments? I want to use WP All Export plugin for this.

@ldwd I’m glad to hear you did a workaround on the original issue.

Is it possible to export posts including Editorial Comments? I want to use WP All Export plugin for this.

Editorial comment is saved as normal comment in wp_comments but with a different comment type of?comment_type='editorial-comment'?to distinguish and filter it from normal comment

    https://github.com/publishpress/PublishPress-Planner/blob/development/modules/editorial-comments/editorial-comments.php#L55

You could use that information to ask WP All Export on how to export them.
