• I’m having an issue with the feed lately, when I try to syncronize variable products with Google Merchant Center.

    I got the following error there: Invalid value for category [price]

    Any ideas what I have missed in the setup?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Can you share the following with us so we can have a closer look:

    1. The product feed URL you are using for your merchant center;
    2. Some product ID’s that got disapproved by Google because of the reason you mentioned?

    Thank you for taking a closer look!

    The product feed’s url:
    https://zarlak2003.hu/wp-content/uploads/woo-product-feed-pro/xml/2b118jxdwCmqXXeCPn4NO74BaVWXunkk.xml

    Some of the IDs with zero price:
    3723, 3724, 3725, 3729

    Hi,

    Thanks for providing this extra information. For those products the price in the feed is this: <g:price>HUF 0,00</g:price>

    It seems that those products (on your website) are bundled or composite products? Could that be the case? And if so, what 3th party plugin are you using for this?

    They are variable products with custom prices. We are using a plugin called “Linked Variations” for that.

    I am not sure if our plugin is able to get all the data from those products as it has not been made compatible with that plugin. In what field names do those custom prices get saved?

    I have just searched how the webshop handle it. The variations are created with ACF, and those are handled as variation prices. I have enabled variations in the feed, but its maybe can’t scrape them?

    The plugin can only get the variation prices from the official variations price input fields, not when you saved them in another (ACF) attribute or custom field unforunately.
