Suggestion about Super Cache and Boost jetpack

Regarding the help section pointing to outdated plugins, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We continuously strive to keep our documentation updated, and we’ll review this to make sure it reflects the current plugin landscape.

As for your question about the cache for mobile option, you’re correct, if you use a responsive theme, you don’t need to use the mobile device support option.

When it comes to compression, if your host server already provides this feature, you might not need to use the compression option in the plugin. It’s a good practice to use server-level compression when available, as it’s generally more efficient. An advisory notice in the plugin, as you suggested, could indeed help users make a more informed decision. We will keep that in mind for a future update.

Adding caching features to Jetpack Boost is an interesting idea that we may consider.

Hi Dan, thanks for your answer, in mobile, the menu configuration is cut and you no can horizontal scroll, so you need use one pc

Test in one mobile, and you will watch half of the menu.

You can also add the pragma cache, navigation cache, etc.

And delay JS CSS like Boost, the big problem in core vitals i think is LCP and maybe the new INP

About the preload and page cache in disk, I think is slow and is more faster direct to the data base, I don’t no

Finally, there are advantages to caching pages on disk versus querying the database for every request, especially for sites with high traffic, which might otherwise lead to database bottlenecks.
