Update to woocommerce 8.5.1 has changed fields in checkout

Hello,

With the new update to woocommerce 8.5.1,

Order checkout fields seem to be alternated now. The email address and phone number address fields are only available when bill to separate address” box is checked. This is the secondary option for address input and will not be intuitive for all customers to use. I have already an issue with a customer checkout in the few hours this update has been live.

I need the fields “email” and “phone” to be default with the primary address input page. This change has made so that my customers do not have a field for email by default and orders cannot be completed without a valid email address to go with their order.

I have tried downloading plugin “Flexible Checkout Fields”, but when adding the desired fields to shipping options screen, it causing billing options screen to have its fields completely bug out. The bug adds duplicate fields and changes order of fields, to the point where it doesn’t make sense and looks ludacris.

Is there any easy fix to this? If I could simply switch it so that billing was the only field available it would have all my desired fields. As it stands now the crucial field of Email Address and Phone Number are hidden by needing the customer to check “Bill to separate address” when this situation may not be needed by the customer.
