Strip iDeal not compatible with WooCommerce Checkout

  • Up till now I have been using Mastercard / Creditcard from Strip for my WooCommerece shop. However, I run into the issue that now I want to turn on iDeal, but Strip iDeal is not compatible with WooCommerce apparently. The error specifically talks about the ”blocks” but I have also tried the old shortcode one and it does not show up. Who knows the solution?

    The plugin supports IDEAL via the checkout block. WooCommerce’s notice about IDEAL not being supported is outdated and incorrect.

    IDEAL requires that your store currency be in EUR. If the currency is not EUR, IDEAL will not show on the checkout page.

    I can see in your first screenshot that IDEAL is rendering in the payment methods section. I recommend you give it a test and you will see it works fine with the checkout block. We have many thousands of merchants using IDEAL with this plugin.
