    Hi

Since last update 2.12.1?all pages break, images do not load, sliders fails, etc

It occurs when @siteground Speed Optimizer is activated and Frontend > CSS and Frontend > JS enabled.
If both options are disabled the site runs properly.

    Thanks

  • I have had the same problem as Jairo. When I deactivated all the Speed Optimizer > Frontend > CSS & Javascript options (or the Spectra plugin), the site works fine.

    Hi @jairoochoa, @bh007,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

In our latest version, we implemented lazy loading, which unfortunately conflicts with the Siteground optimizer. Rest assured, we’re actively working on introducing an option to disable it in one of our forthcoming releases.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi @mohsinbsf

I’m happy to know that issue origin has been located

@siteground cache also includes a lazy load. Maybe two lazy load at the same time crashes. I would detect if SG Optimizer is active and disable any Spectra caching. It’s better to have only one place were to set up optimization. Enabling/disabling this feature could be also in manual mode, so administrator can decide if using Spectra o Optimizator lazy load. In this case, Spectra’s dissable by default as Optimizator is disabled by default.

    Thanks

    Hi @jairoochoa,

We have introduced the disable lazy loading option for the image gallery block and image block in our latest version which was released yesterday. So, you will not face this issue again.

    Have a nice day!

    Hello @mohsinbsf

It is still not working properly for me.

I undid the workaround (which was I deactivated all the Speed Optimizer > Frontend > CSS & Javascript options (or the Spectra plugin)).

I cleared the BB cache, purged SG cache, and flushed the dynamic cache and memcache via the hosting.

However, on 3 out of 4 sites, some images display ok while others do not.

The problem is only evident while I am logged into WordPress. If I log out, the site looks ok.

@mohsinbsf where should I find this setting ? I cannot find it in Spectra > Settings

@bh007 as I know SG cache is disabled when you’re logged as Administrator.
It was supposed that this issue was a cache bug so it should run fine if logged.
Maybe it could be because of browser’s cache.

    Hi @jairoochoa,

You can find the lazy loading settings under the image gallery and image block settings. I have recorded a video to show you the lazy loading settings: https://d.pr/v/vkDIOq

@bh007?Can you please check by clearing all the browser cache, please also check on another device.

Please try and let me know how it goes.

    Have a nice day!
