Hi, the shipping costs entered in ship and fish are exlusive tax (tax will be added to the shipping cost) but I want to enter the shipping cost including tax – how to do this?

Hi, @wienermischung, thank you for your interest in F&S

…if your shipping costs must be charged with tax, I think the right way is to set up the calculations without tax, and let WC charge it. Let’s add an example:

Your cart products SUM $100 + 5% tax, so $105
    Your package charges $10 + 5% tax, so $10.5

The correct way is to set the tax status = taxable, and calculate $10, and WC will increase.

Why? Because if the tax status = None, and your calculation gives $10.5, the cart totals and invoices will be wrong

    Subtotal: $100
    Shipping: $10.5
    Taxes: $5

    when the right subtotal are:

    Subtotal $100
    Shipping $5
    Taxes $5.5

…(well, maybe in the cart totals it doesn’t show tax a part, because of your configuration settings)

Please check that you have your taxes configured correctly in WC: Taxes tab, and check if the correct tax for shipping has the “shipping” checkbox checked, and in all other tax types, unchecked.
