Mysterious plugin

We don’t somehow create new/additional plugins, and I’m not sure how that would even be possible. If you’re referring to our premium “CPTUI-Extended” plugin, that would need to be purchased first, and not something we’d automatically install. I am not seeing any threads about this topic.

Beyond that, I’m looking at your thread history for CPTUI support and am finding 5 different threads in total.

Two reached satisfiably enough solutions to warrant no further discussion, but three that were started never saw any followup replies from you, to further troubleshoot the issues at hand. I have linked the 3 that never received those replies, after we initially chimed in, as well as summary from our own last reply

If there’s something new that didn’t end up getting a thread, or if you feel slighted somehow by any of those 3 above, we’ll do what we can to try and rectify the situation.

I responded to five different emails from you asking how the plugin (not CPTUI) was installed on your website. As I explained over and over again, there is absolutely no way for us to know that. None of our plugin “auto create” a new plugin. If you don’t know what it is, delete it.

Sorry you feel like we should have the magic ability to know how things were installed on your own website, but that’s not how any of this works.

and as I explained to you and showed you with the photo, the plugin states clearly it was developed by you. Which is why I contacted you to find out how a plugin that I didn’t install or create, could have created and installed itself. But instead of wanting to troubleshoot how you plugin created a second one, you just weren’t interested.

The only way this new plugin could have created itself with your company being listed as it’s creator, is if the other plugin I have of yours created it. So your plugin created an extra plugin, and I want to know how and why it did that

The original zip file is no longer available but this would have been me helping get your custom post types added to category/tag archive queries, nearly 2 years ago.

There was no “mysterious” creation for the plugin, there is and was intentional creation at the time to help since you didn’t have access to functions.php at the time, so I made a quick custom plugin for you to install.
