ad only shows a blank space and it’s been up for over 24 h now

The ad code is injected into your site and reserves the space, but the content of the ad does not load. This happens after Advanced Ads placed the code and is therefore outside our sphere of influence.
I am also not spotting any errors in the browsers console pointing to a misconfiguration of the embedded code.

Possible reasons for this behavior are

• The AdSense account or the website is new: Wait 48 hours, but keep in mind that it might take weeks for everything to work correctly.
• Your website was not added: Go to Account > Sites in your AdSense account and add it.
• Your site does not comply with the AdSense policies:?Review the policies here.

Alternatively, I suggest testing the AdSense ad code manually to ensure it is working generally. You can copy it from AdSense after creating an ad unit and place it via HTML block on your page.

If this approach shows a different behavior, I recommend testing this with another type of AdSense ad in Advanced Ads as well.

Im expericing the same issue. Ive updated, using shortcodes such as [the_ad_placement id=”front-page-below-local-news_2″] and they are no longer showing up.

The ad code on your front page is showing the same behavior as the one in the article. After Advanced Ads injects the code, it is not loading its ad content.

Can you please try an AdSense ad code without Advanced Ads as suggested earlier to find out if this is connected to Advanced Ads or the ad code or AdSense itself?
