The HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) 400 Bad Request response status code indicates that the server cannot or will not process the request due to something that is perceived to be a client error (for example, malformed request syntax, invalid request message framing, or deceptive request routing).

Can you please check if there are any broken HTML Tags, Scripts, or corrupted content by deleting the sections one by one and see which section works after deleting it?

    Hi

I noticed in the screenshots that even your form is not getting saved which is not related to Elementor.

Can you temporarily disable the Elementor plugin and then try to save a normal page and see if that works for you?

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that restoring a previous backup of the website fixes the problem temporarily. This suggests that the problem might be related to a recent change or update made on the website. However, I understand that you have not updated the latest versions of the plugins, theme or WordPress core, which might be essential to maintain the functionality and security of the website.

The Server Error (400 Bad Request) generally indicates that the request sent to the server was somehow incorrect or corrupt and the server was unable to understand it. In the context of using Elementor Core, this could be due to a compatibility issue, a problem with the website’s .htaccess file, incorrect file permissions, or even a plugin/theme conflict.

After reading the whole message and seeing the screenshots, I can suggest the following steps:

    • Update Everything: Advise the client to update WordPress, the theme, and all plugins to their latest versions. It’s possible that the Elementor Core plugin requires a newer version of WordPress or other plugins/themes to function correctly.
    • Test in a Staging Environment: If possible, perform these updates in a staging environment first to ensure that the website continues to operate correctly after the updates.
    • Check for Plugin or Theme Conflicts: Deactivate all plugins except Elementor and switch to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One). Then, check if the issue persists. If the problem is resolved, reactivate each plugin and switch back to the original theme one by one to identify the source of the conflict.
    • Review Server Configuration: Ensure that the server configuration meets the requirements for WordPress and Elementor. This includes PHP version, memory limits, and file permissions.

Please remember to back up your site before making any substantial changes. If you have issues performing any of the above steps, contact your hosting provider to help you verify each one.

I am here to support you through this challenging situation. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,
