I am working on a website (vannercentral.com) that was originally made many years ago on Microsoft Frontpage and then Expression. The site is currently hosted on siteground.com. I also have a WordPress account linked to this site on siteground. I had to create a sub-folder for WordPress as I could not find a way to integrate the existing folder with WordPress. Currently, all wordpress files/pages are under vannercentral.com/Wordpress. This works fine with sub pages. However, I am trying to make the WordPress homepage become the main homepage. ie, take the page on vannercentral.com/Wordpress and make it be the page that appears on vannercentral.com. I tried pointing it on the Settings page in WordPress but that didn’t work. I’ve also read a variety of links on developer resource etc but need some additional help. All suggestions appreciated!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi

If you want to make the WordPress installation in the sub-folder (vannercentral.com/Wordpress) to the main homepage (vannercentral.com), there are a few steps to make this possible, and you need to adjust both WordPress settings and your site’s root directory. This article here is a good instruction, although it is for subdomains, it also applies to subfolder move.

    Have a great day ahead!

Thank you! I will read it. Will this allow me to keep the existing, non-Wordpress pages other than the homepage in the same directory as well? I don’t want to lose those.
